Karunasri Seva Samithi / Karunya Sindhu

Karunasri Seva Samithi was established in the year 1999 to cater services to the students who are Orphan/Semi-Orphan & from BPL families. It is an Unit of V.H.P. Presently it takes care of all round development of the 50 inmate students providing them food, shelter, schooling, and giving them Samskaras etc.,and work for all round development of inmate students.


Objectives of the Karunasri Seva Samithi / Karunya Sindhu

Children who are deprived of parental care to be protected by the Karunyasindhu and extend them all possible facilities and their broughtup by providing proper education, shelter, clothing & fooding, training in moral values and inculcating in them Hindu Samskaras etc., so that they settle in life as responsible citizens of the country and they continue to serve the society.

I am circulating Swamy Dayanandaji^^s speech to my groups a eye opener to our own people. I was lucky to hear once speech of Swamyji in Sanskrit in NTR Stadium in a very simple words then I included Sannskrit spoken class for 10 days in last summer camp.

  •   Started in the year 1999 in a rented accommodation with 5 students.
  •   More than 150 students received benefits of stay, education, cultural values and setteled in life. Most of them have done degrees- in Engineering and other streams including Diplomas.
  •   One of the inmate passed MBBS and he is now a practicing doctor.
  •   One student who has specialized in Yoga and servidng as a youga Trainer.
  •   One student after B.Com MBA was provided with special training in SAP in Hyderabad and Bangalore and joined GENPACK company with an attractive salary in the year 2019.

Mile stones in the journey of Karunasri Seva Samithi

  •   Karunasri Seva Samithi was established in the year 1999 in a rented premises
  •   The Ground floor and the first floor of the building was inaugurated in the year 2005 by Late Sri Ashok Singhalji VHP International President.
  •   The Second floor was built in the year 2014 and was inaugurated by Sri G.Raghava Reddy, the then International President of VHP & Sri Praveen bhai Togadiaji the then VHP International working president.
  •   In this premises we have Sri Krishna Temple, prayer hall and dining hall & Library, 8 living rooms in the first floor and one computer training centre and two big halls in the second floor of the building.
  •   The college going students are accommodated in the second floor and school children are accommodated in the first floor with furnished accommodation like cots, beds and other facilities.
  •   We have trained 5 students in Driving and they got driving Licenses for two and four wheeler driving.
  •   We are providing clean & neat environment to accommodate the students provided cots, clean beds, bedsheets, pillows etc.
  •   Endowment Fund in Memory of Late Dr.Anil Kumar Research Scholar and Senior Scientist, Maize in Rock Science Technology - Dr.ANIL KUMAR MEMORIAL AWARD SCHEME
  •   Installed RO plant for giving pure filtered water to students.
  •   We have trained one student in Graphic Designing who is in actively involved in preparing Invitations, Flexis/banners and other posters etc., relating to Karunasri Seva Samithi.
  •   The present strength of 50 students comprise of 36 school going students & 14 college going students. Our students are fortunate as they get guidance & blessings from saints and scholars who visit the Ashram frequently from time to time.
  •   We have installed closed circuit TV (CCTV) for closely monitoring all activities of inmates.
  •   We could construct a Rainwater Harvesting Pit with the help of Local Lions Club.
  •   As a part of energy saving measure we have installed LED Bulbs, Tubelights, Fans and Solar System.
  •   We are publishing a Quarterly News Bulletin “KAARUNYA SINDHU” containing the activities of the Ashram including list of donors for the quarter. This Bulletin is circulated to all well wishers and donors.
  •   Free medical facilities to our students at Vivek Hospital Saidabad, Hyderabad.
  •   Free or concessional Diagnostic Services from Venkateshwara Dianostic Centre Gowliguda Hyderabad.
  •   Constructed Rainwater Harvesting Pit with the help of Lions Club.
